President's Message
When I founded MineStone in 2006, my goal was to be the very best project controls services firm we could be. I had no preconceived plans for our development or the path we would carve for ourselves. At the time, I felt we brought a unique perspective to the marketplace because of our experience with heavy industry estimation.
I am very proud of the path that MineStone has taken over the years. We have grown in ways I could not have imagined since 2006. We have collaborated on some very high profile projects and many of them are truly humbling. However, we have and will continue to take pride in projects of all sizes, as these are the ones that started our path during those first challenging years.
Our goals are still rather modest. I can say with confidence that we will continue to strive to be one of the best project controls firms in our industry. We will continue to build respectful, positive and mutually beneficial relationships with our growing client base in our two main areas of expertise – Project Controls and Procurement Assistance.

Integrity
We use standards of confidentiality in a manner at least equal to that of other professional societies and keep in strictest confidence information received from outside sources.
The practice, commonly called "bid peddling", is a breach of ethics and is condemned by construction organizations.
Judgment
Judgment is a skill obtained through proper training and extensive experience. We always use sound judgment and common sense when preparing estimates.
Proper use of judgment may mean the difference between profit and loss for the company or client.
Attitude
We approach each estimate with a professional attitude and examine in thorough detail all areas of the work. We set aside specific times each day for entry of estimate quantities and data without interruption.
Total mental concentration is a basic requirement for preparing accurate cost estimates.
Thoroughness
We always allow enough time to research and become familiar with the background and details of the project and then promptly complete the quantity survey.
We review the various aspects of the project with the other disciplines involved.
